Privacy notice

Documents on this site are shared by 36nine with named recipients. Opening one records how it was read, so the sender knows the document reached its reader.

What an open records

• A random first-party cookie that tells one browser from another. It holds no personal detail.
• When the document was opened, how far it was scrolled, how long it stayed open, and whether it was printed.
• The browser's device family (for example iPhone or Windows), the site it was referred from, and the country and city estimated from the network address.
• The network address itself, kept for 90 days for abuse tracing, then deleted. Country, city and device are kept with the reading record.

What it does not record

No name, email, or account is collected from a reader. No third-party analytics or advertising service receives anything. A password entered for a protected document is checked and not stored.

Who sees it

The 36nine team that shared the document, inside its own reports workspace. Reading records are not sold or shared onward.
